Newsletter signups
When you sign up for updates, Ed Diehl for Oregon collects your first name, last name, email address, the time of your signup, and your agreement to receive email updates. We use this information to maintain the newsletter signup list and send the updates you requested.
For now, the signup form on this website sends your details through our server to a private Google Sheet. We may transfer these records to a newsletter email service when one is selected. Signing up does not make your information publicly visible. This form does not send an automatic welcome email.
You can withdraw your consent, unsubscribe, or ask us to remove your signup information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We retain signup records until they are no longer needed for these updates or you request removal, subject to any applicable recordkeeping requirements.
Services linked from this website
Google Sheets and Apps Script process newsletter signup records under Google’s Privacy Policy. The signup form does not require a Google account or load a Google form in your browser. Donation links open a hosted Anedot form. Information you submit there, including payment information, is handled by Anedot under its own privacy policy. Social media and other external links have their own privacy practices.

The website server may record technical request information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information, and time, to operate and protect the website.
